Ahead of its planned July 2027 launch, STATION is inviting a select group of brands to become Foundation Partners of a new Australian streaming channel dedicated to agriculture, rural life and country entertainment.

Help Build The Home of Country: STATION opens Foundation Partner Opportunities

Every new project or venture needs the support of people who can see and share the vision.

For STATION, that means bringing together brands from across the agricultural industry and broader rural sector that understand regional Australia and want to play a meaningful role in bringing all of the amazing stories, people, innovations and challenges to screen.

STATION is being developed as a home for original shows, documentaries, news and entertainment spanning Australian agriculture, rural property, country music, food, travel and life in the bush.

Its Foundation Partner program brings together 12 non-competing company's across complementary industries, with category exclusivity and partnerships designed to grow alongside the channel.

Founder Dylan Webber says finding the right partners is an important part of getting the first slate of programming into production.

“When we've started to pen down ideas for shows and documentaries we've found that this is the easy part - stories in the country are plenty and they really write themselves. We've currently got 18 original shows and documentaries in development that we'd love to launch with. The Foundation Partners will help fund us get out there on the road, and bring those stories to the screen.”

A place in the programming

The opportunity extends across STATION’s original programming, launch campaign, digital channels and planned event appearances.

Depending on the partnership, brands may support a relevant series, contribute industry expertise or become part of an on-ground activation that brings STATION to regional audiences. Webber says the marketing blitz in 2027 will create plenty of momentum for all involved.

"Our launch strategy has just shy of 8 million regional touch points across radio, social media, outdoor and amplification which will be a massive shared benefit for those foundation partners who join us prior to launch."

Besides marketing, there's also plenty of opportunities for partners to be part of the programming. A rural business has got valuable expertise to contribute to a conversations about cattle, agriculture, succession, music and more.

The starting point is finding a useful connection between the partner, the program and the viewer where it feels organic.

“If a partner has expertise that makes a story more useful or interesting, that’s a great natural fit,” Webber says. “The audience still needs to enjoy watching it, it must have a good story and story structure - it can't be a one hour advertisement disguised as a documentary. That has to guide how we put this channel together.”

Why join before launch?

Joining at the foundation stage gives partners time to plan their involvement while STATION’s first programs and launch activity are taking shape.

It creates an opportunity to build a considered presence from the beginning, with category exclusivity and a longer-term relationship as the channel develops.

For Webber, the ambition is to create something people return to each week.

“We want someone to come for a show about cattle yards and then discover a great documentary, a country music artist or a family whose story stays with them. There’s room for all of that on STATION.”

STATION is currently welcoming conversations with brands and agribusinesses that share that ambition and can see the vision.
